A note about our pricing
Every tape, film and recording is different. The prices below are starting prices for a straightforward transfer of media in reasonable condition.
Older or damaged media may require cleaning, repairs, repeated capture attempts or additional work to improve the picture and sound. Where more extensive work is needed, we will assess the item and agree any additional cost with you before carrying it out.
Specialist digitisation and restoration
Rewind provides a professional, specialist service. The prices shown below cover straightforward digitisation of media that is in reasonable condition.
Older, damaged or deteriorated recordings may require cleaning, repair, repeated capture attempts, picture correction, audio restoration or other detailed work. Where additional work is needed, the cost will be based on the time and complexity involved. We will assess the recording and agree the price with you before carrying out any work beyond the standard transfer.
Priority and urgent requests
Please let us know at the outset if your order is needed by a particular date. Priority work may be subject to an additional charge, as it can require us to rearrange existing bookings or work outside our normal schedule. A deadline can only be confirmed once we have assessed the media and current workload.

Video Tapes
The following pricing is for transferring all types of Video Tape, from VHS to MiniDV.
1-2 tapes = from £20 per tape
3-9 tapes = from £18 per tape
10-39 tapes = from £16 per tape
40+ tapes = from £14 per tape
All Prices include a free 14 Day download link to all of your converted Media. We can also provide your converted media on USB Key, DVD or Blu-ray for an extra £5 (per format requested)
8mm/Super 8mm Film (No Sound)
The following pricing is for transferring each reel of 8mm or Super 8mm Film
1-2 Reels = from £40 per reel
3-9 Reels = from £38 per reel
10+ Reels = from £35 per reel
All Prices include a free 14 Day download link to all of your converted Media. We can also provide your converted media on USB Key, DVD or Blu-ray for an extra £5 (per format requested). For an extra £10, we will also add a soundtrack of your choice to the completed video.
Photo Negatives/ Slides/ Prints
The following pricing is for digitising photo negatives, slides or prints.
£2 Per Photo when no restoration/repair required
£8 Per Photo when restoration/repair required
Minimum Spend is £20.

Audio Cassettes
The following pricing is for transferring all types of supported Audio cassettes.
1-2 tapes = from £18 per tape
3-9 tapes = from £16 per tape

40+ tapes = from £12 per tape

CDs/DVDs/Minidiscs
The following pricing is for transferring all types of CD/DVD and Minidisc
1-2 disks = from £10 per disc
3-9 tapes = from £8 per disc
10-39 tapes = from £6 per disc
40+ Disks = from £5 per disc
